Structured Academics
Clear coursework and learning pathways for grades 6 through 12.
The mission came first
HBCU Prep AI™ is the current chapter of a vision first launched through the HBCU Preparatory Schools Network in Cleveland in 2012. The original question was simple: why should the strengths associated with the HBCU educational experience begin only after students reach college?
The public site lets families explore the educational vision, demonstrations, HBCU pathways, and homeschool resources while the live program is developed and reviewed privately. The technology did not create the vision; it helps extend its reach.

Built from a longstanding vision
Founder, HBCU Prep AI™
Timothy D. Goler first launched the HBCU Preparatory Schools Network in Cleveland in 2012. The initiative grew from a belief that young people should not have to wait until college to encounter an educational environment shaped by cultural grounding, academic preparation, high expectations, leadership, belonging, and care.
HBCU Prep AI™ represents the next chapter of that vision. Today, the platform combines structured homeschool academics, personalized technology, family involvement, and an HBCU-centered pathway to make that mission accessible in a new way.
“The goal remains larger than college admission. We want students prepared to enroll, persist, graduate, and lead.”
